I absolutely LOVE this time of the year. It's undoubtedly the most wonderful time. One of my favorite activities is decorating the Christmas tree. The thing starts out looking rather ordinary, but by the end is oozing holiday spirit with it's adorning lights and ornaments.
As Christians, it's easy to approach spiritual life in same manner. We can study scripture, learn the commands but resort to hanging our spiritual to-do's and to-be's on the branches of our lives.
We forget that we are to produce fruit. Fruit isn't hung or manufactured. It grows naturally because of what is inside of the tree it's connected to.
January 11, 2016, Ephesians: Walk in Love will begin at Get Into the Word. Sign up today by visiting getintotheword.ca/ephesians. What better way to start off the New Year than with God in His Word!
Walking in love begins with understanding who we are in Christ and what we've been given. As we believe those truths and let them redefine who we are, fruit will be produced. Growth will happen. A life of love will be the eventual result. The life we live is a reflection of the relationship we have experienced. We hope you'll join us as we dig deeper into Ephesians and into living a life of love.
If you haven't already, grab a friend and sign up today. All the Bible study materials are FREE and will be emailed out to Ephesians subscribers beginning January 11, 2016.
